How to Activate

Follow these five steps to authorize Oktopus with your Tatreal account and product key.

Step 01

Have your details ready

Keep the email and password for your Tatreal account nearby, along with the product key delivered after your purchase.

You will need: account email, account password, product key, and an internet connection.
Step 02

Open Oktopus

Launch your DAW or compatible plug-in host, then load Oktopus on an instrument track. You can also open the desktop plug-in host you normally use for VST instruments.

Step 03

Open the activation panel

Select the ACTIVATE button in the upper-right area of the Oktopus interface. The Oktopus Activation panel will open over the synth.

Step 04

Enter your license information

Fill in all three fields:

  • Email: input your email on purchase if bought through tatreal.pro/oktopus/; input "kvr@kvr.kvr" if bought from KVR store
  • Password: input "fastspring" if bought through tatreal.pro/oktopus/: input "oktopuskvr" if bought from KVR store
  • Product Key: input license key. Check each entry, then select ACTIVATE.
NOTE: You may need to click ACTIVATE multiple times. Sorry about that!.
Step 05

Restart the plug-in

When Oktopus displays Success! Restart your plugin!, close the plug-in and load it again. It's recommended to restart the host. Don't forget to save your project before you restart!

After restart, the top-right button should show Activated.

Before retrying

Activation did not complete?

Confirm that all three fields are filled, your device is online, and the email and password belong to the account associated with your product key. Then try activation again.
